Rollo Academy is made by Rollo, the team that helps organisations put AI to work in real jobs. We spend our days helping companies use AI well, and helping their people go from nervous to fluent. This academy is that same knowledge, written down and given away, so anyone can learn it at their own pace.
Why we built it
Most AI courses teach the technology. We teach the work. Every lesson starts from a real task, drafting a tricky email, summarising a long report, cleaning a messy spreadsheet, and shows you how to get it done well. The goal is not to impress you with what AI can do; it is to make your Tuesday afternoon easier.
We also built it because the field is noisy. There is a lot of hype, a lot of fear, and not much plain talk. We aim for plain talk: honest about what these tools do well, honest about where they fall down, and never trying to sell you a miracle.
How we teach
A few principles guide every page.
Plain language, real examples. Short words, short sentences, and prompts you can copy and try today. No jargon for its own sake.
Honest, and kept current. We say when a tool is weak, not just where it shines. We date every lesson, cite good sources, and re-check the fast-moving details rather than pretend they never change.
Free and open. Reading is free, for everyone, with no sign-up. We keep the raw lesson text open too, so the wider web, and the AI tools people now ask, can point to accurate answers.
Where Claude fits
This academy teaches Claude in particular, because it is unusually good at the writing, reasoning and real work most professionals need, and it is what Rollo builds with daily.
